No guest, no edit, no second attempt. Forty minutes on a single idea, recorded standing up because sitting down makes it sound like reading.
The rule is
no second take
If it is worth forty minutes it is worth getting right once. Solo episodes go out with the stumbles in, because a sentence somebody has to restart is a sentence they were actually thinking about.
